Red Ankh Gray out now!

Yep, it’s finally here, the rerelease of Red Ankh’s ‘Gray’ double album.  Bammo, industrial influenced progressive metal.  Get your cyber hands on it here.  This is the first time we are actually asking for money, since money is getting tight over here and time is getting even tighter.  It is only ten dollars for one hundred sixty minutes of music, or fifty cents per track with the exception of the tracks  Tundrome, Zarkerovense, and Secto, which are free.  If you like my music enough to have it but not enough to support me with a means to make more of it in the future, you will be able to find it at places like the Pirate Bay soon enough.

New Releases Very Soon

‘My Webbing Come Undone’ is a symphonic break core track by Shyft written years ago for an album that never got a proper release.  That symphonic break core album, entitled ‘Her Dark Square’, was remixed and remastered last November.  Now, one remix of the four track remix EP for My Webbing Come Undone still needs new mastering, and then that will be complete and the release of both the album and the remix EP will launch, possibly next week.

Surprise!  For the first time in three years, Shyft is nearly prepared to release a new gabber solo album, with six completed tracks and four nearly completed tracks.  This album is to be simply called ‘HonoR’.  Five are dark core or cross breed.  Five are more ‘mainstyle’, sporting catchy yet complex melodies and harmonies.  The title track is a mixture of both.  This album will feature a new version of an old favorite.  Shyft’s primary goal for this week- his spring break- is to finish these tracks.

Finally, ‘Gray’, the industrial metal double album by Red Ankh, is complete.  Expect release of it by some time next week.

The Dustrict and Wizzort album is in its final stages.  Expect industrial, hard core, cross breed

The Predaking album has just a few tracks remaining to be finished, and is now going to feature a second ‘disk’ full of remixes.  Fast, melodic gabber on its way!

Johan Jello has finished his first two track gabber EP, and as all these other projects come together, this will get mastered and released.

Stay tuned.  Things are changing quickly around here now.

From the silence… shadows…

As Shyft types this he is listening to the new K.H.D. double album that shall soon be released, ‘Project Afterlife Transmission’. It is wonderful. Every track is finished and arranged; we are waiting on cover art. Predaking’s new EP is growing in to a new album. Demon’s Breath decided to scrap the EP that we were waiting on as an official release, due to complications postponing the release and feeling that his work on those tracks has become outdated. He hopes to release some thing new with us in the near future. Dustrict’s collaboration with a new artist is still in the works; samples have proven interesting so far.

As for Shyft? As is typical, life has gotten in the way and I have not been able to focus on any art projects in a long time. Despite the projected date, the new book’s release is suspended indefinitely. The writing is done; the editing is done; the sound track is done; and most of the cover art is done, but I still have no idea how to properly market a piece of writing and training a one man marketing team and then making a plan tailored to a specific product takes time that I just don’t feel comfortable devoting to it right now- and I want to do it right. It is majorly frustrating, but at least I have crept back in to my music studio… Red Ankh Gray, the industrial metal double album, is finally nearing completion. Seven of the twenty seven tracks just need vocals recorded, and two of them need instrumentation work; the rest of them are complete. I shall also soon be pressing the priority of remixes for My Webbing Come Undone, so that I can finally release a single of that track alongside the symphonic break core album that features the track- an album that has been complete for almost a year now. Better patience I am learning. I used to be able to do every thing at once, writing ten albums and three hundred pages per year. Things have changed, and I’m getting used to it.

“O” project nearing completion

Shyft’s fourth science fiction/fantasy novel is written, edited, formatted for print, and sound tracked. Remaining is formatting the text for Kindle, planning and rolling out a marketing campaign, and publishing! Never mind that he has to go back to school in nine days! The production may be running late, but the show must go on. One may expect a full release by the end of October. One… may.

In the mean time, please enjoy this remaster of one of Shyft’s classic gabber tunes, up now to bang out your ear drums for the sake of promoting the OST and the book. The Harpist was once a gentle, free spirited young magician. How is it that he came to desire To Destroy All Things?

K.H.D. writes video game inspired album

K.H.D. has finished a thirty-six minute album composed as if it were an original sound track to a video game. The work is called ‘Soonjite’ and it is now released here on Shyfted Minds! It is definitely different from his hard core music, but the same technical production and melodious intent can be heard. Snatch it up by clicking on the image above!

I, Shyft, have been spending most of my free time editing my new science fiction/fantasy novel, so far simply titled “O”. It is in the final editing phase now, and then comes promotion and publishing. The book and it’s accompanying sound track, which is comprised of forty songs inspired by scenes and characters from the book, should be finished by the end of the summer.

Also Dustrict is working on a new collaboration release with a new artist, and Predaking is writing a new EP.

Two new hard core EPs!

Dustrict’s debut hard core EP and a new K.H.D. EP will both be released this Sunday, April twenty-second to commemorate K.H.D.’s birth day! The Demon’s Breath EP is awaiting artwork, and should be ready soon. Shyft’s break core and Red Ankh’s industrial will be released some time before for ever.

In other news, life has gotten in the way of the remixes of Shyft’s My Webbing Come Undone seeing completion, as well as the Red Ankh Gray album. These are still in production, and should be ready before it gets too hot out side! The tracks for the new Demon’s Breath EP are finished being composed; they await mastering.

K.H.D.’s Third Solo Album: Profound Reflexion

K.H.D.’s new gabber album is now up! It’s his crispest, wildest release yet! It has got some interesting collaborations on it, too. Down load it now for free by clicking the image above! Check its info here.

In other news, Shyft’s symphonic break core album called ‘Her Dark Square’ has been fully remixed and remastered, scheduled to be released when the single from it called ‘My Webbing Come Undone’ is also complete. The single will include an industrial hard core remix by K.H.D., a dub step remix by Johnny Foreplay, and a break core remix by Sir Vixx. Red Ankh’s industrial metal double album ‘Gray’ is in the midst of being recreated, with less than a month to completion. Demon’s Breath also has some thing new lurking around the corner… Shyfted Minds is bringing in the new year proper!
