SHM028: Shyft – Her Dark Square – Unofficially released in 2006 and remastered for rerelease in 2013 to accompany the remix EP of My Webbing Come Undone, this is a drill’n’bass/breakcore album by Shyft. Greatly inspired by Venetian Snares’ Rossz Csillag Alatt Született, the album includes many orchestral elements, as well as distorted guitars on the tracks ‘Threes For Fours’ and ‘BLAST (My Last)’. Although it is not sequenced in odd time signatures, the album is very progressive in that each track is very different from the others, and each track changes greatly throughout from beginning to end.
